Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Waiter to join our team at Nobu. The successful candidate will ensure the highest levels of fine dining service, providing exceptional experiences to our guests while working collaboratively with colleagues.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation styles.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and consistency of food and beverage items served, reporting any issues to management promptly.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members to uphold service standards and foster a positive work environment.
  • Actively upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations to meet health and safety standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy, seeking resolutions to enhance satisfaction.
  • Participate in pre-service meetings to stay informed about menu changes, special events, and promotions.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by communicating effectively with colleagues and supporting one another.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fine dining restaurant or upscale hospitality setting.
  • Strong passion for the hospitality industry and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of wine and beverage pairings is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience in Months:
24 months of relevant experience in fine dining or upscale food service.
