Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Waiter for Poseidon Court Cafe at Atlantis, The Palm. This role involves providing top-tier service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations, and supporting the overall operations of the cafe. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction in a luxurious environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service by taking accurate food and drink orders and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and promotional items, and make recommendations to guests.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of all food and beverage items before serving.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, responding to requests and addressing any issues promptly.
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including setting up and clearing tables.
- Assist in managing table assignments, seating arrangements, and guest flow.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food handling, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Support colleagues with tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative and team-focused atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and high standards of service delivery.
- Positive attitude, proactive approach, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or food and beverage service is advantageous.
Work Hours:
Full-time position with rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience in Months:
24 months of experience in food and beverage service, with a proven track record of providing high-quality service in luxury or fine dining settings.
