Job Summary:

Provide maintenance support by responding to guest repair requests and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure efficient operation.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and attend to guest repair requests and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools and equipment; identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall repairs, and light bulb/A/C filter replacements.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment and plumbing, including unclogging drains and replacing electrical components.
• Program TVs and manage engineering-related inventory duties.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Experience: Some experience in general maintenance and surface preparation; experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds; basic computer skills for scheduling and temperature changes; valid driver’s license.
