Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Team Leader. The role involves overseeing the Front Desk operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out, while maintaining smooth communication between departments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out processes in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Supervise and guide Front Desk staff to ensure seamless guest service throughout their stay.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, reservations, etc.) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, room rates, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor daily room availability and coordinate room assignments with housekeeping.
- Ensure accurate guest registration, including verifying IDs and inputting guest information into the Opera PMS system.
- Train and mentor Front Desk employees, providing feedback and development opportunities.
- Conduct end-of-shift audits to ensure all cash closures and billing are accurate.
- Oversee VIP guest arrivals and ensure personalized service for long-term or special-status guests.
- Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests while upselling services and amenities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Front Office of a hotel.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera PMS experience is an advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Level of Education:
- Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, with flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a similar supervisory role.
