Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Team Leader. The role involves overseeing the Front Desk operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service from check-in to check-out, while maintaining smooth communication between departments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with check-in/check-out processes in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Supervise and guide Front Desk staff to ensure seamless guest service throughout their stay.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, reservations, etc.) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, room rates, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor daily room availability and coordinate room assignments with housekeeping.
  • Ensure accurate guest registration, including verifying IDs and inputting guest information into the Opera PMS system.
  • Train and mentor Front Desk employees, providing feedback and development opportunities.
  • Conduct end-of-shift audits to ensure all cash closures and billing are accurate.
  • Oversee VIP guest arrivals and ensure personalized service for long-term or special-status guests.
  • Manage guest inquiries, bookings, and requests while upselling services and amenities.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Front Office of a hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proficient in hotel management software (Opera PMS experience is an advantage).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Level of Education:

  • Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in a similar supervisory role.
