Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Kitchen professionals for the role of Commis III, responsible for assisting in daily food preparation and ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will support the senior kitchen staff and maintain operational excellence, contributing to exceptional guest experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Demi Chef de Partie and Commis I with daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare and organize daily mis-en-place for various sections of the kitchen.
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a hygienic and organized manner according to hotel standards.
  • Follow instructions from superiors and adhere to established recipes and procedures.
  • Monitor and control food stock and costs in assigned sections to minimize wastage.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency in daily preparation.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen sections on cleanliness, preparation, and cost control efforts.
  • Contribute to inventory management and assist in ensuring the proper storage of food items.
  • Stay updated on food preservation and preparation techniques to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food preparation in a high-volume, quality-focused kitchen.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food.

 

Level of Education:

  • Professional chef training or culinary diploma.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of kitchen experience, preferably in a similar role.
