Job Summary:
The Guest Service Support Expert plays a vital role in ensuring that food and beverage operations run efficiently and that guests have a memorable dining experience. This position involves providing a range of services that support the overall guest experience, from assisting kitchen staff to maintaining cleanliness and order in dining areas.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set and reset tables according to restaurant standards and guest preferences.
  • Assist the kitchen staff with food preparation and service tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, and kitchen equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Replenish supplies, including condiments, napkins, and utensils, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest needs and proactively address requests or concerns to enhance their experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and notifying management of low supplies.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Support special events or promotions by helping with setup, service, and cleanup.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve service skills and product knowledge.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors to maintain operational efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage environment preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and policies.
  • No supervisory experience required, but leadership potential is appreciated.
