Job Summary:
As a Hostess at Ling Ling, located within the stunning Atlantis, The Royal, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional first and last impression for guests. You will manage the flow of guests, handle reservations, and maintain an efficient and welcoming atmosphere at the restaurant. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills in a fast-paced, high-end dining environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude.
  • Manage guest seating arrangements, monitor wait times, and coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth seating transitions.
  • Handle guest inquiries and assist with reservations, providing detailed information about the menu and restaurant offerings.
  • Maintain the waiting list and communicate seating updates to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a seamless dining experience from entry to exit.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure VIP guests and special requests are handled with care.
  • Assist with event coordination, including private dining areas, large groups, and special celebrations.
  • Ensure the entrance and waiting areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates and offer refreshments during their wait.
  • Support promotional activities and assist in creating an inviting ambiance for the lounge and dining experience.
  • Collect and manage guest feedback, ensuring any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse clientele.
  • Previous experience as a hostess or in a guest-facing role within a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
  • Familiarity with reservation management software and guest seating arrangements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Cantonese cuisine and luxury dining experience is a plus.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

 

Experience in Months:
Minimum 24 months (2 years) of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant environment.
