Job Summary:
As a VIP Hostess at Nobu Dubai, you will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will utilize your charm, communication skills, and efficiency to engage with guests in a genuine and welcoming manner, while maintaining the restaurant’s high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a positive first impression of the restaurant.
- Manage reservations, monitor waitlists, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring they are comfortable and well-informed about the dining experience.
- Communicate wait times and accommodate special requests to enhance the guest experience.
- Provide personalized service for VIP and regular guests, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate closely with the Bar and Dining area teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain a professional and polished appearance, acting as a brand ambassador for Nobu.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit and handle any issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the team by attending external and internal training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on providing a luxury guest experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of guests.
- A warm and friendly demeanor, with a natural ability to engage guests without sounding scripted.
- Experience working in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant preferred.
- Ability to manage reservations, coordinate seating, and handle guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or customer service preferred.
Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Experience in Months:
Minimum 12 months of experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end service environment. International experience is a plus.
