Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Duty Engineer to oversee all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems at our property. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of maintenance tasks and upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hotel equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Supervise preventive maintenance schedules for boilers, chillers, emergency generators, fire pumps, kitchen, refrigeration, HVAC, and laundry systems.
• Monitor daily utility usage (electricity, water, gas) and report findings to the Engineering Manager.
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with the Front Office and Housekeeping departments to ensure timely room readiness, particularly for VIPs.
• Maintain records of maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance schedules for future reference.
• Create and implement training programs for engineering staff, fostering multitasking and skill development.
• Distribute tasks among team members according to their abilities, ensuring optimal results.
• Communicate regularly with other departments to maintain smooth hotel operations and address maintenance needs.
• Promote environmentally friendly practices and compliance with the hotel's environmental policies.

Requirements:

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement timely repairs.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other technical tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Level of Education:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, flexible with weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum of 24 months in a similar maintenance role.
