Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for crafting and serving a wide variety of beverages, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency at the bar. The role also involves assisting with food orders and providing excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Greet and engage with guests, taking beverage and food orders, and providing recommendations based on preferences.
  • Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
  • Handle guest queries and requests professionally, delivering prompt and courteous service.
  • Collaborate with floor staff to assist with food orders, deliveries, and serving when needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with menu offerings, specials, and promotions to upsell and enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage proper settlement of all customer accounts, including cash and card payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
  • Assist with the setup, restocking, and closing of the bar, ensuring readiness for the next shift.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and positive manner.
  • Contribute to maintaining a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and consistently deliver exceptional service.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a bartender, ideally within a cocktail bar or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency in crafting classic cocktails and a strong understanding of various beverages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to handle busy shifts and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, especially in beverage presentation and cleanliness.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to contribute to team success.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with bar equipment, tools, and payment systems.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional qualifications in hospitality or mixology preferred.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience as a bartender in a similar environment.
