Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that all interactions align with brand standards for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and soft drinks, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Take and process guest food and beverage orders, ensuring all customer requests are fulfilled efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including any changes or promotions, to assist guests with their selections.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar, including equipment, tools, and service areas.
- Handle customer payments, ensuring accurate billing and processing of transactions.
- Engage with guests, answering queries and providing recommendations in a polite, professional manner.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar and dining areas as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Uphold brand standards in all aspects of service, presentation, and guest interaction.
- Support other staff members during busy periods or events, helping with deliveries and guest service as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to craft and serve a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to engage guests and address their needs.
- Strong understanding of menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and pairing suggestions.
- Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask during busy service hours.
- Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Level of Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Hours:
- Full-time, with shift flexibility, including weekends and public holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a bar or cocktail environment.
