Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests by preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that all interactions align with brand standards for hospitality.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and soft drinks, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Take and process guest food and beverage orders, ensuring all customer requests are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including any changes or promotions, to assist guests with their selections.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar, including equipment, tools, and service areas.
  • Handle customer payments, ensuring accurate billing and processing of transactions.
  • Engage with guests, answering queries and providing recommendations in a polite, professional manner.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar and dining areas as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Uphold brand standards in all aspects of service, presentation, and guest interaction.
  • Support other staff members during busy periods or events, helping with deliveries and guest service as required.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to craft and serve a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to engage guests and address their needs.
  • Strong understanding of menu items, including ingredients, allergens, and pairing suggestions.
  • Knowledge of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask during busy service hours.
  • Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with shift flexibility, including weekends and public holidays.

 

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a bar or cocktail environment.
