Job Description

Job Purpose


The purpose of this position is to lead Oracle SCM team and supervise the implementation of said modules across DP World group companies.


He/ She is


Responsible for Global design of SCM application for DP World group companies.

Responsible to ensure that group company implementations are adhering to Global Process templates.

Responsible to provide Application insights to team members as well as to Business users

Responsible to introduce new or improved functionalities of Oracle SCM Application

Participate in the design, implementation and support of business solutions



Key Accountabilities


Lead Oracle SCM Team and provide guidance in designing the SCM application

Ensure individual entity implementations adhere to Global Design Template

Provide SCM application demos to DP World group companies that are interested in implementing Cloud SCM modules

Participate in Project Planning process to prepare SCM implementation plan for Group companies

Provide answers to queries raised by Business regarding the application and its functionalities

Participate in all important Business User interaction sessions as an SCM expert to provide solutions to user requirements

Conduct solution design workshops

Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables

Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/key stakeholders on a regular basis

Act as an ambassador for DP World always when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.

Perform other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications, Experience and Skills


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent

8 years progressive experience in consulting environment or related industry experience working directly with Oracle E-Business and Cloud/Fusion applications.

5 years of related technical, business or project experience.

At least 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud/Fusion SCM implementations as a functional lead

Proficient or lead on 3 or more application modules.

Experience with the business processes in SCM modules including: Sourcing, Contracting, iProcurement, Procure to Pay, Supplier portal / management

Experience in designing Oracle Cloud SCM system for large multinational Company.

Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Resolves problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project management as appropriate.

Successfully manages relationship with clients and colleagues.

Determination, self-motivation and an eagerness to take on new challenges

Ability to adapt quickly, working in a dynamic business environment

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Proven ability to work remotely and independently in support of Clients/Business

Ability to work with Multicultural environment across the world
