Job Summary:
We are looking for a Room Attendant at voco Dubai Palm, The Palm, to maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service excellence and attention to detail in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Attend shift briefings and receive work assignments, ensuring trolley is stocked with linen and supplies.
• Clean and service guest rooms according to IHG Way of Clean standards, including bed-making and linen replacement.
• Complete room checklists for each room and report any urgent maintenance issues to the Floor Supervisor.
• Handle lost and found items responsibly and report discrepancies in room status.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest corridors and public areas, including ashtrays, at all times.
• Assist with special housekeeping tasks such as mattress turning and curtain hanging as instructed.
• Adhere to hotel fire, health, safety, and hygiene regulations, following standard operating procedures.
• Optimize the use of cleaning supplies and chemicals to minimize waste.
• Attend regular training sessions and stay informed about hotel facilities, promotions, and activities to assist guests when needed.

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a similar housekeeping role within a hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Friendly, team-player mentality with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet high standards under pressure.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Level of Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is a plus.

Work Hours:

• Full-time, flexible hours including shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

• Minimum of 12 months in a related role.
