Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader, Lifeguard to oversee the safety and supervision of guests at multiple locations across the resort, including pools, beaches, and waterparks. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment for all guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safety of guests across pools, Aquaventure Waterpark, and designated beach areas.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations while ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience for guests.
  • Act as a point of contact between lifeguard colleagues and management, facilitating clear communication.
  • Ensure lifeguards are deployed effectively and that safety standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor and manage guest interactions, resolving issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Lead regular safety training sessions for lifeguard staff, ensuring team competency in emergency response.
  • Conduct safety inspections of equipment and facilities, reporting maintenance needs as required.
  • Assist in cross-training staff across other resort areas to enhance skills and ensure operational flexibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of training, incidents, and safety measures for reporting purposes.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and interact effectively with guests.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to work long hours in outdoor, hot conditions.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergency situations confidently.
  • Knowledge of water safety regulations and lifeguard procedures, with the ability to enforce them effectively.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, with certification in lifeguard training and first aid.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, 48 hours per week, with shifts rotating across various resort areas, including weekends and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:
A minimum of 24 months (2 years) of experience as a lifeguard, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or team leader role.
