Job Summary:
The Club Concierge at Shangri-La Dubai is responsible for providing exceptional personalized service to guests in the Horizon Club. This role involves overseeing reception and food and beverage operations, engaging with guests, and ensuring their experiences are memorable and tailored to their preferences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee reception duties, ensuring smooth operations and welcoming experiences for guests.
  • Manage food and beverage services in the Horizon Club, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Provide personalized guest services, anticipating needs and preferences to enhance their stay.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and implement improvements based on their suggestions.
  • Address and resolve any guest issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain an organized and aesthetically pleasing environment in the Horizon Club.
  • Assist in organizing special events or promotions within the Horizon Club to enhance guest engagement.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on service excellence and guest interaction.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies for food and beverage operations, ensuring everything is well-stocked.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage.
  • A creative mindset with an eye for detail, able to craft tailored solutions for guests.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a calm demeanor in challenging situations.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in a concierge or front desk role is preferred.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field.

Work Hours:
Full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:
24+ months of relevant experience in luxury hospitality.
