Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals to join our team for the opening of Carbone, an Italian-American restaurant at Atlantis, The Royal. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring a memorable dining experience, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, provide menu recommendations, and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the menu, including Italian-American cuisine, and make suggestions based on guest preferences.
  • Provide impeccable table service, ensuring food is served in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and bar spaces.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to inquiries about menu items and beverage pairings.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Manage guest reservations, table assignments, and waitlists to optimize seating capacity and turnover.
  • Assist in maintaining stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring proper handling of food and beverages.
  • Follow all safety and hygiene regulations in compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Support promotional events and seasonal menu changes, providing a seamless guest experience.
  • Collaborate with chefs, sommeliers, and bartenders to enhance the overall dining experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage roles, especially in high-volume or fine-dining environments.
  • Knowledge of Italian-American cuisine and premium beverage offerings, with the ability to recommend pairings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage diverse clientele.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and composure.
  • Team player with leadership qualities, capable of mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, reservation management, and inventory tracking.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certifications or training preferred.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time, flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational requirements.

 

Experience in Months:
Minimum 24 months (2 years) of experience in a similar role within a high-volume, luxury, or Italian-American restaurant.
