Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Assistant Manager for Atlantis, The Royal. In this role, you will oversee Front Desk and lobby operations, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a key representative of the resort, you will maintain the highest level of service standards, leading the team to provide 5-star hospitality in all guest interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Front Desk and lobby, ensuring smooth guest check-ins, check-outs, and overall in-house experiences.
- Coordinate effectively between Front Services, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless arrival and departure process for all guests.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring all interactions meet 5-star expectations.
- Act as a resort ambassador, providing guests with knowledgeable recommendations and assisting with any special requests or concerns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Front Desk team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular inspections of the lobby and guest-facing areas to maintain immaculate presentation and service quality.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with all resort policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort, with a strong understanding of Front Office operations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Impeccable personal presentation and a passion for delivering high-end hospitality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and front office systems.
Level of Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
Work Hours:
Full-time, including weekends and holidays. Flexible shifts required.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24-36 months in a similar management role within a luxury hotel or resort.
