Job Summary:
A Door Attendant is responsible for maintaining frequent contact with guests, welcoming them upon arrival, assisting with departures, overseeing luggage delivery and safekeeping, and providing various services to enhance the overall guest experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage efficiently.
  • Maintain frequent contact with regular guests and visitors to build rapport and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Park guests' vehicles on hotel premises as required, ensuring safety and security.
  • Provide driving services to guests upon request, maintaining a professional driving standard.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all hotel vehicles and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about all hotel services, amenities, and upcoming VIPs or special events to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Be knowledgeable about external locations, attractions, and landmarks to assist guests with inquiries and recommendations.
  • Adhere to company brand standards and project a professional demeanor with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
  • Monitor guest arrivals and departures to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process.
  • Assist with luggage handling and delivery to guest rooms or designated areas in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hotel or leisure industry.
  • Meticulous personal presentation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, courteous, and discreet demeanor in all interactions.
  • Knowledge of the local area, including attractions and landmarks, is preferred.
  • A passion for teamwork as well as the ability to work autonomously when needed.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills for handling guest information and requests.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

 

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
