Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our team as Waiter/Waitress. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that each guest's dining experience is memorable and exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, from seating through the completion of their dining experience.
- Greet and seat guests, offering menu suggestions and recommendations based on their preferences.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu, including daily specials and promotions.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen, ensuring timely and correct food and drink delivery.
- Perform all service tasks, including food and beverage setup, serving, and clearing according to hotel standards.
- Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
- Address guest complaints or concerns professionally and ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area, including table settings, service stations, and equipment.
- Set up dining areas for service, including preparing tables and service stations for smooth operation.
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage by handling food and beverages carefully.
- Upsell and cross-sell food and beverages to maximize guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking supplies, and ensuring the availability of necessary items.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times, following proper handling procedures for food and drinks.
- Assist in training new staff members when needed.
- Stay up-to-date with ongoing promotions, seasonal menu changes, and special events to provide accurate information to guests.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food and beverage.
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an outstanding guest experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, welcoming attitude.
- Ability to handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift trays and other service items.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to assist colleagues.
