Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our team as a Waiter/Waitress. This role is focused on delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional service to guests, adhering to hotel standards for food and beverage service.
- Greet, seat, and serve guests in a personalized and discreet manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the menu to assist guests with food and beverage selections, offering informed recommendations.
- Consistently monitor the quality of food and beverages being served, addressing any issues with urgency.
- Address guest complaints and queries promptly, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive customer relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant, ensuring all service areas and equipment are in excellent condition.
- Prepare the service area before, during, and after service (mis-en-place and mis-en-scene).
- Minimize wastage, breakage, and spoilage, ensuring efficient operations and cost control.
- Actively use up-selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and boost revenue.
- Support team members and assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed during peak times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering excellent guest service.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and calmly under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of up-selling techniques and revenue optimization.
Level of Education:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Vocational Training in Food & Beverage Service.
Work Hours:
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Experience in Months:
- Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role.
