Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Waiters/Waitresses to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for providing professional and courteous service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. This role involves maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while actively contributing to the team’s success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests, providing personalized service and menu recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to hotel service standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all service areas, ensuring hygiene and sanitation regulations are followed.
  • Perform service preparations before, during, and after shifts, including setting up tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Monitor the quality of food and beverages being served, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Support the team in managing large events and group bookings, ensuring smooth service.
  • Follow cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or vocational training in hospitality, food, and beverage, or a related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, flexible schedule with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
