Job Summary:
As an Assistant Manager at Nobu by the Beach, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant General Manager to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the restaurant. Your focus will be on training staff, maintaining service standards, and enhancing guest experiences while minimizing operational costs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Coordinate employee schedules to optimize staffing levels and ensure efficient service.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Provide exceptional guest service and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Assist in menu planning and maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and service.
  • Organize and oversee special events and promotions to attract guests.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in management meetings to discuss operational goals and strategies.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
    • International experience in a high-end dining environment is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes:
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
