I am writing to apply for the Subject Matter Expert position as recently advertised. I am respectfully submitting this cover letter for that I believe my personal interest in the area and experiences are well qualified to meet the needs of the position. I have completed my Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. Rahisuddin at JMI central University, New Delhi. I have qualified UGC-National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET-All India rank-186). Besides, I have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted in 2010.

I have published fifteen publications in international reputed journals (Sensors and Actuators B Chemical, Luminescence, Journal of coordination chemistry........) and one book chapter. I have one year of industrial experience in Analytical Research and Development at Aptuit Laurus Ltd, Hyderabad.Besides,I have one year of research experience as a Project fellow at Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore.

I am currently working on the development of functional fluorescent and colorimetric probes for the detection of metal ions and DNA binding agents. I have adequate knowledge of several spectroscopic and analytical techniques useful to the structural characterization of the organic and coordination compounds.
