I am a committed, passionate and hard working young teacher who can bring fresh new ideas to the teaching position. I have a love for my subject and a desire to see students achieve their goals. I have a Bachelor of Education with Biology, Physics and Agricultural Science from the University of Limerick in Ireland. I have experience teaching in the Irish and American curriculum as well as having experience teaching in the United Kingdom. As I am currently a homeroom teacher I believe that I have excellent curriculum knowledge and I am able to spark curiosity in my students. My experience of Grade 4 Science coordinator has enabled me to develop leadership qualities along with the ability to create interesting lessons which meet the needs of all students. I am able to facilitate learning in a nourishing and caring environment where students feel safe and secure. I am an excellent team player as well as having the ability to work independently.
In addition to being a teacher I am keen in taking part in the running of extracurricular school activities as I believe they play a key role in the development of student teacher relationships while also ensuring students enjoy school life and reach their full potential.
