Develop policies, processes and procedures where there’s no existing control or controls are weak to prevent or mitigate the risks of possible fraud and error.
• Sarbanes-Oxley: Ensure compliance and implementation of SOX controls. Review and approve SOX reports and schedules prepared by other team members, analyze and consolidate them for reporting and discussion with VP and Director of Finance.
• Taxation: Review VAT transactions to ensure accuracy. Communicate with concerned personnel the correct VAT application and resolve any issues. Prepare reconciliation, make adjustments/corrections if necessary, compute and file VAT return.
