I am currently seeking a position as an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor/Civil Engineer. I have completed B.Tech in Civil Engineering. I am having 3 years of experience in post & pre contract stage and having GCC practical knowledge. I am able to assist and carry out all aspects of Quantity Surveying. I have the experience and the educational qualification to take up any role related to Quantity Surveying & Estimation. I have an overall knowledge of lead engineering principles, tools and practices with emphasis on planning and preparing bills of quantity. I am proficient in the use of MS Office, Auto-CAD and Primavera (P6V7).
As an Estimator am responsible for the quantity take off, costing related to building & civil engineering.
The job responsibilities include the following:
• Preparation of tenders and contract documents, including BOQ with the architect and/or the client.
• Performs quantity take-off for the projects.
• Manages all costs related to building & civil engineering projects.
• Handles all pre-contract & post contract tasks.
• Notifying & submitting variations with substantiation, in accordance with the conditions of contract.
