Completing my primary and secondary education at Hillwood College, Kandy, I followed a BTEC Professional Diploma in teaching (Pearson UK) at Gateway Graduate School, Kandy. The duration of the course was one year with one month of practical teaching experience at Gateway College, Kandy(Grade
5-8 Mathematics); a requirement of the course. I graduated in the field of Mathematics in the Open University of Sri Lanka in November 2018. Moreover I achieved a band score of 7.0 in IELTS Academic (December 2018).

I was employed as the Math Teacher (Grade 6-11) at Mowbray College Kandy and as the Math / Science teacher (Grade 7) at Wycherley International School Colombo. This has given me a range of practical capabilities, allowing me to experience working in a professional environment for a period of 2 years.
