I, Vijay Hiraman Ingole, from India. I have recently completed my doctoral programme (Ph. D.) in Biophysics at the Department of Nanotechnology, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra State, India. My research topic of Ph. D. was “Design and development of nanocomposites for their applications as artificial bone and bone grafting”. I have interdisciplinary background of natural science and biomedical science. My research interests lie in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, and drug delivery, mainly designing novel 3D scaffolds for bone, muscle, and neural tissue regeneration.

Prior to this, I worked as an Assistant Professor of Biophysics at the Department of Medical Physiology in medical colleges and institutions of repute for about 7 years. I was fascinated with the vast and speedily widening area of research in Nano-Biomedical sciences. Hence, I enrolled for the Master of Philosophy program in Biotechnology, and later for the doctoral program.

I have teaching and research experience for about seven and six years respectively along with administrative experience. I have an excellent command over English language which would enable me to adjust easily to an English-speaking country and University. In addition, I am multi-lingual with fluency in three languages. I have a never-give-up attitude, and am confident of adjusting to any new environment. My administrative experience includes working as acting Head of the Department. I have also worked as a student mentor and the sports secretary. I am also an effective good team-worker.

During my Ph. D. research I have gained latest advances in nanoscience and nanotechnology intended to biomedical applications. I have aimed to work in the frontier research area of science, specifically in the field of nano-bioscience, where I can effectively utilize my technical knowledge, background, and strong interpersonal skills to achieve the best. Self-starter, good adaptability, and a good team player with a keen eye for details. I have a good theoretical and practical knowledge of biophysical, analytical and electrophysiological techniques, preparation of nanomaterials and nanocomposites, tailoring their properties and their characterization for desired application. A desire to learn new things and courage to take new research challenges. Have excellent communication and English language skills to compile project proposal and reports. Sound knowledge of computer applications in research activities.
