 Responsible for dealing with ordering of materials, services and supplies for the company.
 Conducting research via trade publication, internet, catalogues, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers.
 Working closely with warehouse and sales teams to keep an eye on what’s trending.
 Review purchase requisitions, specifications and related data sheets and approves in getting quotations from different merchandise.
 Analysing quotations and preparation of comparative statement according to prices, credit terms and delivery time.
 Preparing purchase orders and subcontracts.
 Follow-up of purchase orders for delivery in due time.
 Monitoring returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims.
 Managing import shipments, Custom clearance, and handling custom house agents.
 Engage the third party freight companies or shipping lines, for having cost effective and on-time shipment from vendors.
 Managing existing vendor and supplier relationships.
 Verification and passing of vendor’s bills to see that payments are made promptly.
 Work with finance department to make advance, balance or full payment to vendors according to the terms and conditions of purchase order.
