A certified English language teacher with 9 years of hands on teaching experience. I have a Bachelor of Education Degree in English Language and Linguistics and earned the Tunisian Secondary teaching certificate ‘CAPES’ in 2010. Being versatile,highly motivated and approachable teacher, I have taken the opportunity to teach a wide variety of students from various academic and social backgrounds. Hence, I am a caring teacher who remains sensitive to learners’ unique needs, provides individual as well as whole group support, and offers encouragement to keep students motivated.

One of the most efficient ways that I assist English language learners is by developing and presenting engaging and comprehensible lesson plans that facilitate all learning styles. In order to ensure that each student is able to comprehend and retain the concepts and language, I incorporate a variety of resources to cater for students via audio; visual, tactile and kinesthetic methods. Thanks to my solid teaching experience and professional certifications, I have developed an outstanding set of teaching skills and qualities that have enabled me to help students attain their full potential. Throughout my career, I have succeeded not only at enhancing learners’ academic English abilities, but also at improving their test scores. Qualified and committed to instilling a passion for English language into all students, regardless of their motivation and proficiency levels. I understand both the excitement and the challenges that accompany learning a foreign language. In my classes, I typically devote five to ten minutes at the start of each class to “peer-to-peer learning”, a ritual that has helped my students become highly engaged in their own learning. I aim to support students’ social-emotional well-being as they learn English and deepen their global awareness.
