Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Technicians to join the Facilities Department at Atlantis The Royal. As a key member of our diverse technical team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the resort's plumbing systems, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems in guest rooms, public areas, outdoor facilities, and back-of-house areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of pools, fountains, sump pumps, sewage pumps, and other water systems.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair sanitary and plumbing installations, including heavy pumps and pipe connections.
  • Monitor the functional condition of pump/motor and filter systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Perform daily DEWA water meter readings and field outlet consumption meter checks, documenting findings accurately.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing issues, and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new technologies and practices.
  • Assist with emergency repairs and maintenance tasks as required, maintaining operational efficiency at all times.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing and maintenance, with a preference for candidates with 5 years or more.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair plumbing issues independently and efficiently.
  • Strong knowledge of pool and fountain maintenance in large facilities, preferably in resort or hotel settings.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to plumbing operations is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Certification in plumbing or a related technical field is preferred.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in plumbing or facilities maintenance is a plus.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time; flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

 

Experience in Months:
36+ months (3 years) of relevant experience in plumbing and maintenance.
