Job Summary:

The Massage Therapist - Hammam is responsible for delivering exceptional and consistent service while performing professional massages related to hammam treatments. This role requires the ability to provide a safe and professional environment for clients, ensuring uncompromised attention to guest service.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Massage and Treatment:
    • Perform a variety of hammam massage treatments and spa therapies tailored to individual guest needs.
    • Customize treatments based on client preferences, health conditions, and spa protocols.
  • Client Care:
    • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and expectations.
    • Provide expert recommendations on treatments and aftercare to enhance client well-being.
  • Hygiene and Safety:
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment room and hammam area.
    • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly sanitized and maintained.
  • Guest Experience:
    • Foster a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere for guests during treatments.
    • Address guest inquiries and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other spa staff and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss service improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Continued Education:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and new massage techniques or therapies.
    • Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements:

  • Holder of an international certification in physical therapy or spa treatments.
  • Minimum of 24 months of work experience as a Hammam Therapist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and spa treatments.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Level of Education:

  • Ideally, a diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, or a related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate spa operations.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 24 months of relevant experience in a spa or wellness environment.
