Job Summary:

Responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining the kitchen area to ensure food quality and safety standards are met. This role involves food preparation, operation of kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Cook food according to recipes and presentation standards, including cold foods.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Monitor food quality and ensure proper cooking times and temperatures.
  • Set up and break down workstations, ensuring cleanliness of kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Follow safety and company policies, report hazards, and maintain professional conduct.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and support overall kitchen operations.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • No supervisory experience required.
