Job Summary:

As a Hotel Host in the Front Office at Hyatt Place, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality guest service and creating memorable experiences. The role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, maintaining hotel common areas, and ensuring smooth operations of the Market, e-room, TV den, and meeting rooms. You will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing efficient service in a welcoming, clean, and inviting environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and order of the Front Desk Stand, Market, e-room, TV den, and meeting rooms.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with setting up and servicing meeting rooms.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless guest experience across all areas.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous guest service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to meet guest needs.
  • Flexibility to work AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing guest demands.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management is a plus.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible schedule required, including availability for both AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 12 months of customer service experience in a hotel or similar environment.
