Job Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Front Desk Agents to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest’s experience is memorable from arrival to departure. Your focus will be on creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing guest needs with professionalism and efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests to achieve high customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival to departure.
  • Personally greet guests by name, if known, and escort them to their rooms to ensure a warm welcome.
  • Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization for guests, assisting with inquiries about hotel activities, services, and local attractions.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel information, including operating hours, promotions, events, and nearby attractions to effectively respond to guest queries.
  • Monitor daily rate levels and occupancy rates to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Accurately administer front desk cashiering standards, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are accurately posted using computerized Front Office systems.
  • Safeguard guest privacy by protecting all personal information and not disclosing any details about guests.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the hotel's policies, procedures, and service standards, with full knowledge of hotel facilities and events.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, aiming for prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new front desk staff, promoting a team-oriented environment.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings to share insights and ideas for improving guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • A degree in hospitality management or a related field, with previous experience in a front office role within a hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve problems effectively and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Computer literacy, with familiarity in front office systems such as Opera preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, demonstrating a genuine interest in providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Previous experience in a multi-cultural team setting is highly desirable.
