Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender for En Fuego at Atlantis, The Palm. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing a wide range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety at the bar. This role requires a blend of creativity, service excellence, and teamwork to deliver an exceptional experience for all guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and other beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
  • Maintain full knowledge of the beverage menu, including signature cocktails and special promotions.
  • Engage with guests, providing recommendations based on their tastes, upselling premium items, and ensuring an enjoyable experience.
  • Ensure bar area cleanliness and organization, adhering to sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment of bar supplies, and coordinate with management for restocking.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with billing procedures.
  • Assist with bar setup, ensuring that all tools, glassware, and ingredients are properly prepared for service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth delivery of food and drinks to guests.
  • Manage customer inquiries, requests, or complaints with professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Support the training of junior staff and new team members, sharing knowledge on beverage preparation and service standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bartending role in a high-end restaurant, bar, or hotel.
  • Certification from Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 or equivalent bar course is required.
  • Strong understanding of beverage mixing techniques and a passion for creative cocktail development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with a diverse clientele.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Strong team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and guest service.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

 

Level of Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in hospitality or bartending preferred.

Work Hours:
Full-time position with rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Experience in Months:
24 months of experience in bartending with a focus on premium service environments.
