Job Summary:

As a Hotel Host in the Front Office, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from check-in to check-out. This role involves providing excellent customer service, promoting hotel services, and managing guest inquiries and payments. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming and memorable stay for our guests, while upholding Hyatt’s high standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest registration, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
  • Process guest payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and hospitality.
  • Maintain the front desk’s appearance, ensuring it is neat and welcoming at all times.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Handle reservations and room assignments in coordination with other team members.
  • Resolve any issues related to guest stays promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.

Work Hours:

  • Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 12 months in a similar guest-facing role. Experience in hotel operations is an advantage.
