Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources division to ensure the effective implementation of Hyatt’s People Philosophy and compliance with brand standards. The role involves overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training, while maintaining a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hotel’s objectives and corporate policies.
- Oversee recruitment processes to ensure hiring of high-quality talent.
- Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Oversee performance management, appraisals, and career development programs.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and retention.
- Provide guidance and support to department heads on HR-related matters.
- Manage payroll, benefits administration, and compensation plans.
- Coordinate and oversee staff training and development programs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Human Resources leadership within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in handling employee relations, recruitment, and training.
- Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
Level of Education:
University degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Hospitality, or related field.
Work Hours:
Full-time position with flexibility to accommodate operational needs, including occasional weekends or holidays.
Experience in Months:
Minimum of 24 months in a similar role as Director of Human Resources or HR Manager in a large-scale operation.
