Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high cleanliness standards, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and assign tasks to Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Oversee the correct use, storage, and economical application of cleaning agents and supplies.
  • Ensure all equipment is well-maintained, clean, and safely stored, reporting any required repairs promptly.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules for rooms, carpets, upholstery, and general public areas.
  • Train staff on hotel cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and guest service skills, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishment as needed.
  • Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure the safe handling and labeling of lost and found items, following hotel protocols.
  • Assist in planning deep-cleaning programs and any additional housekeeping projects as required.
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain smooth daily operations and address special guest needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel housekeeping department.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, cleaning agents, and equipment use.
  • Experience in training and developing staff members.
  • Proficient in using housekeeping management software; knowledge of Opera PMS is an advantage.

 

Level of Education:

  • Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months in a similar supervisory role.
