Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and operational standards throughout the hotel. The role focuses on overseeing housekeeping staff, ensuring high levels of cleanliness, and responding to guest requests, all while meeting company quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and allocate daily tasks to Housekeeping Attendants, ensuring completion to high standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness meets hotel requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling.
  • Conduct daily briefings to communicate special instructions or guest requests to the housekeeping team.
  • Review and address guest requests, VIP status rooms, and special housekeeping needs efficiently.
  • Manage check-outs and room inspections to confirm rooms are ready for the next guest.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues or repair needs within guest rooms and hotel facilities.
  • Implement and uphold safety and cleanliness protocols in line with company standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of lost and found items.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide staff.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing guest requests and collaborating with other departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in housekeeping management software (e.g., Opera) and general computer literacy.

 

Level of Education:

  • Diploma or vocational training in hospitality management or a related field.

Work Hours:

  • Full-time, flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required.

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum 24 months of supervisory experience in a housekeeping role or similar capacity.
