Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Atlantis, The Palm. In this role, you will manage your section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation, while supporting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of food preparation in your assigned kitchen section.
  • Maintain mise en place, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and ready for service.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety are met at all times.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef to create innovative dishes and menu items.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
  • Execute service during peak hours efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in menu planning and seasonal updates based on trends and guest feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and company policies.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Michelin-starred or award-winning fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Passionate about culinary arts and a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Health and safety certification is required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

 

Level of Education:
Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field.

 

Work Hours:
Full-time; flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

 

Experience in Months:
24-36 months (2-3 years) in a high-volume culinary environment.
