Job Summary:
A Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining standards, and achieving departmental targets. This role requires strong leadership to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth team coordination.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations across food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Communicate and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring all responsibilities are met efficiently.
  • Uphold brand standards for food quality, service, and guest experience.
  • Manage guest queries, complaints, and special requests, providing prompt and professional responses.
  • Collaborate with food and beverage management to achieve financial and operational targets, including cost control and sales growth.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and development of team members to improve performance and engagement.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including fire and security standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering to ensure outlets are adequately stocked.
  • Handle staff scheduling, ensuring coverage during peak times and balancing labor costs.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration and maintain positive working relationships with other hotel teams.
  • Assist in implementing environmental and sustainability practices, such as reducing waste and promoting energy efficiency.
  • Provide leadership during busy shifts, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining brand standards.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations related to food service.

 

Level of Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in hospitality management or food service are preferred.

 

Work Hours:

  • Full-time position, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

 

Experience in Months:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in food and beverage operations, with supervisory experience.
