Job Summary:
The Guest Service Expert is responsible for creating a memorable dining experience by delivering exceptional service to guests. This role involves setting up dining areas, serving food and drinks, communicating with the kitchen, and ensuring the cleanliness of workstations. The Guest Service Expert plays a key part in delivering seamless transactions and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and interact with guests to provide a warm and welcoming dining experience.
  • Set up and maintain tables, ensuring proper arrangement and cleanliness.
  • Communicate with the kitchen to ensure timely food delivery and accuracy of orders.
  • Serve food and beverages while anticipating guest needs and addressing any requests promptly.
  • Clear and clean tables after guests have finished, preparing the space for the next guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including dining rooms and preparation stations.
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards, reporting any issues to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, including proper food handling and service procedures.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Provide information about the menu, daily specials, and recommendations.
  • Handle guest payments and process transactions with accuracy.
  • Uphold a professional appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines and proper hygiene.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.
  • Less than 1 year of related experience in food service or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds independently.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • No supervisory experience required.
