Job Summary:
As a Guest Service Expert, you will be responsible for creating a memorable and unique dining experience for guests by delivering excellent service throughout their meal. From setting tables and assisting in the kitchen to interacting with guests and ensuring cleanliness, you’ll ensure that every detail enhances the overall dining experience. Your role is to support seamless service while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and prepare dining areas by arranging tables, ensuring cleanliness, and organizing service areas.
  • Interact with guests to ensure their dining experience is enjoyable, addressing any special requests or concerns.
  • Assist kitchen staff by communicating guest needs, delivering orders, and ensuring timely service.
  • Clear and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization during and after service.
  • Replenish work areas and supplies as needed to maintain smooth operations throughout the shift.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, ensuring guest satisfaction and adhering to brand standards.
  • Support in menu management, including verifying information and keeping guests informed of specials.
  • Uphold company policies related to safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Perform various cleaning tasks throughout the shift, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Respond to guest inquiries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with any additional tasks as requested by supervisors, contributing to team success.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling food, beverages, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of related experience, preferably in a hospitality or food service setting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods, including working on uneven or slippery surfaces.
  • Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and following company policies.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
