Job Summary:
The Guest Service Expert plays a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences for guests by providing a high standard of service. This includes setting up tables, managing guest interactions, assisting the kitchen, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in work areas. The position involves a combination of guest interaction and behind-the-scenes support to ensure a seamless dining experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Set and clear tables, ensuring proper table arrangements and cleanliness before, during, and after service.
  • Assist guests with menu navigation, providing recommendations, and taking orders in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to guests.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any special requests or concerns.
  • Replenish supplies, restock items, and ensure cleanliness in service areas throughout the shift.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and other service areas by following clean-as-you-go procedures.
  • Assist with food and beverage preparation when necessary, including ensuring proper food presentation standards.
  • Follow all company policies, including safety, security, and health regulations, and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Adhere to quality assurance expectations and uphold company standards for uniform, personal appearance, and behavior.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, develop strong working relationships with team members, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist management with other duties as requested, including supporting the team in reaching common goals.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience in customer service, hospitality, or food and beverage environments.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move across uneven or slippery surfaces.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • No supervisory experience required.
