Job Summary:
The Guest Service Expert plays a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing attentive and personalized service. You will not only serve food and beverages but also ensure a seamless guest experience by handling a wide range of tasks, from setting up tables to ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal. The goal is to make each dining interaction feel unique and exceptional.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they have a positive dining experience from start to finish.
- Set up and arrange tables with necessary settings and materials prior to service.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, answer guest inquiries, and accommodate special requests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely and accurate food delivery to guests.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas, including dining tables, service stations, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed, following hygiene and food safety standards.
- Monitor and refill drinks, condiments, and utensils to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Process guest orders and handle payment transactions efficiently.
- Maintain communication with team members to ensure a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience.
- Adhere to company standards for uniform, appearance, and professional conduct.
- Uphold safety and sanitation standards, reporting any potential hazards or issues to management.
- Assist with closing duties, including cleaning and organizing service areas and preparing for the next shift.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in a guest service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, including standing, sitting, and walking across various surfaces.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude toward guest service.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
