Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant who takes pride in providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest cleanliness standards. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms, corridors, and service areas are immaculately clean and welcoming, contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive daily work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and sign out accurately in the key log book.
  • Clean guest rooms and bathrooms, following detailed procedures to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and clear any obstructions in fire exits and stairways, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks in rooms and report any required repairs immediately.
  • Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, empty wastebaskets, and clean mirrors, ensuring a pristine environment for guests.
  • Replenish all room and bathroom amenities, ensuring guest satisfaction and comfort.
  • Neatly arrange guest items, such as toiletries, and spot clean carpets when necessary.
  • Ensure guest corridors, service pantries, and common areas are clean, tidy, and free from clutter at all times.
  • Collect Room Service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors and ensure their proper removal.
  • Assist guests with requests, such as sending clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.
  • Conduct deep cleaning tasks on a rotational basis, including scrubbing floors, washing walls, and cleaning drapery.
  • Handle guest complaints regarding room cleanliness professionally and ensure immediate resolution.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

 

Requirements:

  • Vocational training or relevant experience within the Housekeeping department of a hotel is preferred.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow cleaning procedures and ensure a high level of hygiene.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and moving equipment.
