Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our Front Office team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional, courteous, and personalized service to guests, ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly, address them by name, and ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Assist guests with hotel familiarization, including room amenities, services, and local information.
  • Handle guest inquiries about hotel activities, local attractions, and other requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates, promotions, and occupancy levels to optimize bookings.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate handling of accounts and charges.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest needs promptly and resolving any issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to accommodate guest requests, such as housekeeping or dining services.
  • Ensure that all cash handling and cashiering duties are completed accurately.
  • Support in upselling hotel services, including room upgrades, restaurant reservations, and events.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including updating guest records, reporting, and maintaining logs.
  • Assist with guest departures, offering help with luggage and transportation as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • Previous experience in Front Office or similar customer service role, preferably within a hotel.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Front Office systems, with knowledge of Opera being an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.
