Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay for our guests.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive daily assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and log in accurately.
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
  • Replenish guest room and bathroom supplies, ensuring they meet the hotel's quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including corridors, service areas, stairways, and fire exits.
  • Report any maintenance issues or broken items immediately to the supervisor.
  • Remove trash and Room Service trays from rooms and corridors promptly.
  • Assist with linen and towel replacement, ensuring proper usage and storage.
  • Organize and arrange guest personal items neatly and respectfully.
  • Perform spot-cleaning duties, including cleaning carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Report any lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor following hotel procedures.
  • Assist in deep-cleaning projects for rooms and public areas on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and notify supervisors when stocks are low.
  • Follow proper laundry collection procedures for guest clothes and communicate with the laundry department.
  • Assist in training new housekeeping staff when required.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or similar setting.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • Good command of English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and hotel procedures
